THE BIG FAQ — WHY IS CK-NJ MOVING?		After you read the information below, click here to read FAQ's sent in by campers and staff.

FIRST Even though we have had 18 spectacular summers in Hackettstown, we decided upon review of Centenary College’s future facility changes, construction projects and management issues that it was time to find a new home for our camp.

SECOND Blair Academy is an ideal place for Campus Kids-NJ and a big step up for us in terms of its setting and facilities. Changes at Blair have made this the ideal time for us to move there. It’s a great situation both for Blair and for CK-NJ.



THIRD We love the facilities at Blair. ¨ 8 attractive, well maintained dorms. ¨ A beautiful dining room and a foodservice staff that prepares delicious meals for young people year-round. ¨ Extensive grass fields for all kinds of sports (many times the field space we have been used to). ¨ A synthetic turf football/soccer field with running track (and lights for night play!). ¨ 10 tennis courts, half of them with lights. ¨ A newly renovated and expanded indoor sports center with three gyms, swimming pool, squash courts, along with a student center (our canteen!). ¨ An amazing arts center with a 500-seat theatre, a black box theatre, dance studio, music rooms, and arts studios for ceramics, painting/drawing and all of our camp arts & crafts.



FOURTH Blairstown is beautiful. The surrounding countryside and the town are quite rural. The Blair Academy campus provides more open space for us. Yet we estimate that the travel time to camp will increase by only 10 to 15 minutes from most locations in NJ and NY.
