Robert Emmer
(Former Camper)
Robert "Psycho" (as he was known in his younger days) Emmer is 22 years old and a recent graduate from the School of Visual Arts in New York City.  He has a degree in animation and is currently looking for work.  He spent six wonderful summers at the camp from 1994 through 1999 and treasures every day he spent there . The years that he spent at Campus Kids formed the basis of the person he is today and so thanks the camp and the wonderful people that made up the camp, from Tom and Stu, Jeremy and Robbie and John, to his friends like Alek and Steve.

It’s amazing how many stories I tell that start with “once, at this camp I worked at...” even after two years.  That’s how many great memories I have of Campus Kids-NJ.  I even found my experiences coming up at job interviews and having prospective employers seem more interested in CK than my education!  Such is the way with camp and how it impacts your life in unexpected ways.

I’ve tried to keep in touch with people over the years, and with many people getting on Facebook and Myspace that task has become easier, but I’m afraid I’m still falling woefully short of the kind of contact I would like.  So I was very excited when Jeremy announced he was launching this alumni page.  Life has taken me far from Hackettstown New Jersey.  I currently live in Santa Monica, just a stones-throw from the Pacific Ocean and down town Los Angeles.  Admittedly this location is probably wasted on me: I am not a city person.  But still I like it here very much, though blue juice is in short supply and the announcement trees are more tropical.  I am proud to have graduated from Virginia Tech with my master’s degree in May of 2006 and taught at a neighboring university, Radford, for a year before making the move west four months ago.  I am currently a research analyst at a litigation support firm where I help set up focus groups on which attorneys can practice their cases before going to trial.

I hope this message finds everyone well, and I look forward to reading what all of you are up to!

Dan Enden
(Former Camper)

I'm Dan Enden. I play electric bass (5-string, 4-string, fretless), guitar (electric, acoustic), and various percussion.  I'm highly into film and have a DVD collection of 300+.  I chew a pack of gum a day.  My
AIM screename is Sgt Fluffhead. I'm not a sergeant, nor am I made of fluff; it's a Phish song.

Editors Note:  Dan's former band, Cow Noodles played at the first ever Campus Kids - NJ CampStock and videos can be seen here.

The name's Koon and I am currently a photographer living in Brooklyn, NY. When not shooting, you can find me watching movies, drawing, playing guitar, listening to music, drinking jasmine tea, reading a book, hanging out with friends, or just generally trying to look cool in front of the ladies.  I have a soft spot for jeans and v-necks, suits (I use to do tailoring), dogs, bikes, and shiny objects.
I worked at CK for three summers once as a Junior Boy's Counselor, and the
other two were spent being the Fine Arts Coordinator where I brought little gems like digital photography, graffiti, and silk screening to the CK program. Three of the bestsummers i've had yet.  I've met the greatest people from all over the world that I still talk to on a regular basis, and gained some excellent experiences, and of coursea ton of laughs.
Well, it's getting late and I have to wake up far earlier than i ever did at camp, which if you knew me... is the biggest challenge I have.
