This behind the scenes photo journal is part two in a two part series of behind the scenes work at Campus Kids-NJ. In this photo journal, I hung out in the office one morning to see what goes on there.
Upon coming back from breakfast, the Team B staff assistants assigned to the office for the day found a list of chores waiting for them.
The first step on the list was to check in with Sara. Sara then told them what needed to be done for that morning.
The tasks included...
recycling...
  sweeping...
and making the next day's schedule.
I then went with staff assistant Lizzy to take some newly bought art supplies to the art room.
When I came back, I went to Sharon's (the office manager) office to see what she does.
She explained to me a big part of her job is to handle transportation changes on Mondays and Fridays.
On my way to Teri's office, I ran into counselors Danielle and Dave, who were editing a video for the show that was going on at camp that night.
Once I got to Teri's office, I came upon her editing the latest edition of the camp newsletter, The Sundial.
The next big task of the morning involved getting the mail with Staff Assistants Mitch and Kelcy. Along with them came the camp's trusty wheelbarrow.
Our first stop was at the campus bookstore. However, we found nothing there.
We then went to Clinton hall, home of Blair's administrative office. We were lucky enough to snag a few packages there for our campers.
We then walked down hill into Blairstown to go to the post office, where most of our packages and letters would be waiting.
And of course, a trip the post office is never complete without a trip to The Gourmet Gallery!
Mitch and Kelcy then made the package list outside.
After a long quest to get the mail, we could finally return to the office.
Once we got back Annie, we arrived at Sharon's printer, where we found all of the camper emails.
And with that, my morning at the office was over. As you just saw, a lot of things happen in the office at any given time to keep the camp running smoothly!
