Usually at Campus Kids New Jersey, there is a musical during week 8. However, Jase, the performing Arts Coordinator decided to change things up this year. Instead of doing one musical, different songs from a bunch of different musicals were performed.
The area surrounding the stage was beautifully set up by the arts and crafts crew.
The crowd came in at seven o'clock, excited what this show was going to bring.
The show opened with a song from hosts Sean and Joanna.
The first act featured a dance battle between the counselors and the campers from the show "West Side Story"

Max, Josh, and Matt showed the crowd how to "Walk Like a Man".
The freshman girls showed off their moves while they danced to "The New Girl in Town".

Raquel and Louisa sang a duet, singing "Take Me or Leave Me"
The juniors and senior showed what was behind their masks while dancing to "Masquerade"
Matt and Laura sang "In the Jungle" with grace.
Next, some of the staff assistants showed how tough their jobs are at camp by dancing to "It's a Hard Knock Life".
Also, a group of campers performed an "Annie" medley that left the crowd wondering if they were in a Broadway theater.
Thomas and Jordan showed their theatrical sides by performing a song about philosophy from the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown."
The junior and senior girls literally couldn't stop the beat while they danced to "You Can't Stop the Beat".
A group of very talented singers sang the song "Seasons of Love".
Rachel and Meg left the crowd in awe with their beautiful singing voices when they performed "For Good".
Finally, the show was capped off with a performance of "We're All in This Together".

It was time to announce the night's winners. Joanna opened the envelope and announced that everyone was a winner!
Congrats to Stu for winning the Lifetime Achievement Award.
