Vancouver, Canada and Blairstown, New Jersey- what do they have in common? They both hosted Olympic games this year! While the Olympics in Vancouver hosted teams of different nationalities, the Blairstown Olympics hosted athletes from different divisions. The Blair Witches, the older girls, Far Far Away, the younger girls, The Brothers Grimm, the older boys, and The Lost Boys, the younger boys, all participated.
The first event was extreme slip and slide. Coincidentally, the day of this event happened to be a scorcher, so everyone was anxious to get soaked.

Of course, the staff had to test it out first... you know, just to see if it worked.
The goal of the first event was to get a ball through a series of hoops worth a different amount of points, all while careening down a giant slip and slide.

The second event was an extreme reflex challenge. Basically freeze dance but in the pool. It's harder than it sounds.

The final event was a gigantic relay.

It started out with a cheer from the Campus Kids cheerleaders!
And the race began. Of course, we had to bust out the slip and slide again.

The Closing Ceremonies took place right afterwards. An array of creative groups performed, including gymnastics, dance, and our new Glee club!

No word on the gold medalist division, but it's okay because everyone is a winner at Campus Kids!
