Campstock by Day
by Lindsey Jacobs

Do you notice a common theme between these 5 staff assistants? The trend seems to be an excessive amount of tie- dye and excitement written all over their faces. Do you know what this means? CAMPSTOCK! The last night of camp may have a few tears, but it also has Campus Kids' annual arts and music festival! This event is so big that it can't even fit into one photo journal. Instead, we (Team D) have split it into 2 sections in order to cover every aspect of this amazing day.
The entire camp made their way out to snack donning their best and brightest tie-dye for this special occasion.

It was then time to head inside Armstrong Hipkins due to the prediction of inclement weather in the upcoming hours.

The entire building was transformed into something straight out of the 1960's. The lobby was filled with booths like...
a moon bounce...

four square...
  bracelet making...
face painting...
    cotton candy...
a message booth...
card games...
  and a coloring station!
For those who wanted to enhance their 60's inspired look, there was a hippie fashion booth filled with feathers and the likes...
and a T-shirt Spray painting booth to create one of a kind Campstock apparel!
Afterwards, they could go to the Photo Booth the get a picture with some funny props (check the pictures out-the link is on the CK 2011 page!).
Of course all the while, band were rocking out in the theater to an eager crowd (more on music in Campstock by Night!

After 2 hours of fun, it was time for a quick dinner break before returning to all of the fun that was Campstock VI!
