It's me, Mario!

If you happened to take a peek into the office or made your way over to the art room within the past week, you may have noticed a theme to all of the projects going on: Super Mario! What may have seemed like random tasks were put together to create Campus Kids' very first Super Mario Space Race!
As lunch bunk ended, campers and counselors alike poured into the bowl wearing their very best video game themed costumes.

Some chose to go with classic Super Mario characters...
while many decided to go with other video game classics!

To begin the day, the entire camp gathered in the announcements area for a quick Super Mario Skit by the Leadership Team! As the skit ended, the audience erupted with applause and laughter meaning it was time for the Super Mario Space Race to begin!

Each bunk group traveled as a whole throughout the day attending a variety of Super Mario themed games and races!
The campers participated in everything from an obstacle course...
to a version of tag called "Cheep Cheeps and Bloopers",
and water balloon four square!
After a quick stop in the "Bowl" for a delicious snack of apples and oranges, it was time to get back to the fun!
The older division then competed in a  "Mario Kart" relay on longboards while...
the younger division tested their luck on CK's homemade mini golf course and...
their creativity in the "Statue Garden"!
Thanks to all who created the wonderful world of Super Mario here at CK and to all of the campers who participated! Hope everyone had a Super Smashin' Day!
