We Learn, We Grow.

In life, sometimes it's hard to just step back and reflect. At camp, everyone has a pretty busy day, whether it's being a camper or a staff member. Today, I went around asking people what they've learned here at camp. It's a simple question, but it lets people look back on all the fun activities they've done. Some of these activities were new to them, while others, they had practically been pros at. It lets people look at all the friends they have made and how they have helped each other grow. Maybe they have been a role model, or looked up to a role model. This question also helps campers just look at the camp as a whole- how it's contributed to their life in many different ways, how they feel when they're at camp, and even not at camp. It's a simple question- "What have you learned while at camp so far?" but this simple question received many unique and thought-provoking answers.

This is just a short view of things that people learn here everyday. With this learning, comes growth. That's truly what makes everyone at camp so close- we all grow together. So let this Photo Journal be a reminder that sometimes it's alright to just sit back, think about your day, think about the people in your life, and think about what you've learned.
